We are all extremely sorry to be making this announcement, but the show in Chile is not going to happen. Brett is so disappointed and wants me to express how sorry he is for you all.

The promoters have lied to us consistently and we can not allow the situation to carry on any longer.

We have no honourable explanation from them, but here are the
details for the people we have been dealing with and I hope that every single one of you who have bought tickets and made travel arrangements, gets in touch with them for an explanation.

I hope this promoter gets what he deserves. You cannot lead on the fans of a performer, let alone the performer and his management. What horrible people- I hope they get nailed for this. (I'll be happy to beat him up if need be)

Vanessa, i'm feel terrible because as chilean fans we know more than you and your team about the different chilean promotion companies, so we knew what kind of people you were dealing with, you could ask people from sophie, ladytron, devo, they were angry with them.it's just that we expected a miracle.

I bought my tickets early :(, but i think everything is not lost, the problem is that you involved with incompetent people, and i don't want that you believe that all chilean promoters are like them. there are some companies very serious in which you can trust as we do, because they have promoted massive shows that have been very successful in our country, ask to the teams of travis, starsailor, the killers, etc.

I FEEL SO BAD, THIS IS THE WORSE THING THAT HAVE HAPPENED TO ME DURING THIS YEAR.

I feel horrible and very disappointed of the persons' class that they are employed at the way here at Chile. I give us thousand excuses them, also we exist promoters that we are professional because we love what we do ... indeed I am too sad, I was very happy while there lasted the illusion of seeing Brett so nearby...

I believe that the better thing is to denounce these persons to the SERNAC (national service the consumer) in order that this does not return to repeat.

I expect some day to see for Brett presenting his show here in Chile...

Vanessa...I am so sorry for the cancelled Brett Anderson show in Chile. I was about to buy my ticket when I knew it :( I hope you can arrange a new concert with a serious agent. I think the phone number of the "Chilean producers" are not right...you have to add a 9 to get in contact with them:

Wow! I´m very sorry that this happened with Brett, I hope and I suggest you that you won´t think that this is the normal behaviour of local producers. Big events and shows of this magnitude are normal in this country, ever since we recovered democracy in 1989. I give you a couple of examples; Roger Waters was here and he gave a perfect concert, his show was produced by DG medios [www.dgmedios.com]. Placebo completely sold out their tickets and they came with the same company. It´s a shame and being the fact that I´m Chilean I wouldn´t like it to happen again. I stroungly suggest you to contact this company for future events. Best Regards!. Christian

It was too good to be true...
Please don't think all chilean promoters are such a lyers as this two guys are. His company named FourGroup Producciones has been doing scams like this one over and over again ,at least two of every three shows they produced end up cancelled!!!! E.g: Jarvis Cocker performed a month ago for 4.500 people but Devo and Brett was last minute cancelled.
And we poor stupid fans keep believing on them and cross our fingers with the hope this time a miracle happens and FourGroup do their job right!!!....

Ticketmaster will refund the tickets except for the delivery fees but please do contact Sernac , it might sound like a waist of time but the company could get some fine and at least our complains will be a pain in their damned ass.

I hope you Vanessa realize that there's a huge audience waiting for Brett here, not only in Chile but also in Argentina and Peru, and don't drop out the idea to come to South America, but next time deal with a decent poduction company.

Por favor no piensen que todas las productoras chilenas son tan metirosos como este par de tipos. Su empresa, FourGroup Producciones ha venido haciendo estafas como esta todo el tiempo,al menos 2 de cada 3 conciertos producidos por ellos terminana cancelados. Vanessa, espero que te des cuenta que existe mucho publico esperando a Brett, no solo en Chile sino en Argentina y Peru y no abandonen la idea de venir a Sudaerica, pero la proxima vez traten con una productora decente.

Vanessa, thank you so much for being so willing to inform us about everything. As a chilean, I feel embarrased for the bad image this pathetic "promoter" is giving to artists abroad.
I hope that someday, hopefully soon, Brett can actually come to Chile brought by a decent promoters. There are some like Fenix Entertainment and DG Medios.

Hey all, don't get so excited filing complaints against Four Group. Also consider that Ticketmaster won't return a fee per ticket of roughly 2,000 pesos and I wouldn't be surprised if they actually had a back deal with Perez to share those fees.

First of all, I have to thank you Vanessa for absolutely everything. All this terrible time that we didn't know what happened, you were the only one who kept us informed.
I must beg you to reconsider to bring Brett to Chile. As you can see on previous posts, not all producers in Chile are like Claudio Perez (should I call him 'producer'? Well, he's an expert producing disasters). Nowdays, the concert scene in Chile is huge and that doesn't happened by accident but because there're good producers who have made their job well. Sadly, this wasn't the case and I, a true fan as much as thousands in Chile, we're who most sorry about it.
When I knew that Brett would give a concert in Chile, I was so happy that for a moment I felt that my heart was just too big to fit into my chest. I just couldn't believe it (and maybe I shouldn't), I mean, he's the composer of the soundtrack of my life, his music, his words and voice are in big part of my memories. I think I'm not the only one who feels the way I am.
Please, tell Brett that we sorry, you know all this wasn't our fault, so please try another time to bring him and despite he has never been in Chile, this will be always his home. Tell him that we'll waiting for him and if he doesn't come, I will go to him. Please thank him for us for make such beautiful music and write lyrics that in some strange but delightful way talks about our lives. There's a lot of thing that I would like to tell him, but over all, tell him that we love him no matter what...
That's all I can say with my very poor english (sorry for that...)
